Family FAQ

What does The Care Collective do?

We’re a boutique Atlanta agency that personally vets and matches caregivers for long-term roles. We place nannies, family assistants, newborn care specialists, night nurses, household managers, and companions or CNA-certified caregivers for aging parents.

How is this different from a big agency?

I’m a local mom and an agency of one. I personally vet every candidate and focus on long-term fit, not volume. You get high-touch service without big-agency pricing.

How does the process work?

  1. Fill out our family intro form.

  2. We have an introductory call, then a deeper consultation about your needs.

  3. I present vetted candidates who fit your family.

  4. You interview candidates and do a trial.

  5. You make an offer, and we stay with you after the placement.

How are candidates vetted?

Every candidate completes screening and an in-person interview, and at least one reference must respond before I refer them to a family.

Who employs the caregiver?

You do. It’s a direct placement, so you and your caregiver agree on terms together. I can help guide that conversation.

How long does a search take?

It depends on the role. I recommend making decisions within about 10 days of the interview and trial, because great candidates get hired quickly. A rush option is available if you need someone sooner.

What happens after placement?

Your placement includes 12 months of support: guidance, help with replacement, and referrals for backup care when available. After that, you can join our Continued Care Program for ongoing support.

What if it’s not the right fit?

If a caregiver can’t fulfill the basic role, we always support a rematch at no search fee. If your family’s needs change, one rematch per year is included.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the role and scope. We’ll go over everything on your intro call.
